The foundations of the techniques you’ll learn are based on 2 important concepts: intramuscular coordination and time under tension.
First, Intramuscular tension refers to the magnitude of work or effort exerted by the muscle in order to generate movement. The second concept, time under tension, refers to the duration of the work the muscles performs during a set.
The use of these different techniques will all strive towards the goal of maximizing intramuscular tension and time under tension.

Recommended Pre-Requisite: Although not required to take this course, some concepts in this course are covered in the Foundations of Periodization & Program Design Course.
